I have chosen to focus the counselling arm of my psychotherapeutic practice on helping people overcome stressful/distressing eating behaviours.

 

I have worked for a long time with people who have eating disorders and I love the work but have branched out to include disordered eating as  this can also have a serious impact on quality of life.

 

Apart fromt the desire, passion and drive to treat eating, I  have qualifications and experience.

I work for Somerset NHS Foundation Trust as a Senior Psychological Therapist and Supervisor. I am also a unit leader and lecturer on the University of Bath Addictions Counselling degrees.

I am currently undertaking doctoral research.
